Why do you need my stock spindles?
Our spindles are essentially a modified stock part, so we need your spindles in order to build from. We could produce an entirely new part, but in small numbers it would easily double the cost.
What is the turn around time?
Normally we can turn your spindles around within 5 days (plus shipping time), but if you need anything quicker just let us know and we will be happy to accomodate.
What if I drive my truck every day?
Sometimes we have stock core spindles that we can build for you and once you have installed the drop spindles you simply ship your stock spindles back… There is a $150 refundable core charge to do this.
I thought you couldn’t weld to cast material?
It is true that welding to cast material is not for beginners, but we have done quite a bit of research on the procedure and use special TIG welding rod specifically for welding to cast steel.
Why are they more expensive than other drop spindles?
In the small quantities that the truck industry demands it is difficult to bring the price down to the $250 that we are all used to for aftermarket drop spindles. In the time it takes us to build just one set of spindles, an entire batch of parts could be made overseas.
Do I need to have my truck aligned after I install the drop spindles?
YES! Even though our spindles are an exact copy of the stock spindle geometry, it is always a good idea to have your truck aligned afterwards.
Do they have a warranty?
Yes. Because our spindles are actually a custom built part, they are warranteed from default of any type (not including accidents) for the life of the part… This means if you see a crack starting or if the part fails for any reason, we will either repair or replace the part for free.
You don’t have a spindle for my truck, can you build me a custom set?
In most cases yes. There are a few vehicles that are just not feasable to build drop spindles for, but those are few and far between. Contact us with your project and we will do what we can to help out.
